Heyworth Public Library

We Are So Much Larger Than Our Walls

About Us

Since 1941, Heyworth has been proud of its library. Through the years the library has expanded in size, people served, and services offered. In 1989 construction was completed on the new library building.

Library cards are free to district residents and may be used at any library in RAILS (Reaching Across Illinois Library System). If the Heyworth Library doesn’t have a book or periodical that a patron needs, our librarians can usually obtain it from another library through interlibrary loan.

There’s something for everyone at the Heyworth Public Library! We’re not just about books. Come in and browse our complete collection.   You’re sure to find something to spark your interest!  Our friendly staff is always willing to help you in your search for materials.
