Summer reading programs continue through August for children, teens and adults. Reading for prizes will come to an end in July. Children age 3 – 6th grade can still read 10 books for prizes. All children’s book logs must be turned in before or on July 28. Teens and Adults were awarded prizes for June reading raffle. Congratulation to all our winners. Visit our website or stop in to see the names of all our June winners. All new prizes are available for July for our Teens and Adults!
We had a question asking what is RSA Cat on the library’s website homepage? This is our online “card” catalog. The Resource Sharing Alliance (RSA) handles our database of materials at the Heyworth Public Library and over 175 other libraries in the Central IL area. From our website (heyworthlibrary.com) you can select the RSA CAT link on the home page and search for materials and place holds on material you want anytime/anywhere you have an internet connection. RSA has created the free BookMyne app to connect you to the online catalog, so you can have instant access to your Heyworth library on your phone or any other device that uses apps.
You can find eBook and audio titles available for download on the RSA CAT, but you cannot access them from the RSA CAT. To access eBooks and downloadable audio books use the ADML library link on the library’s home page.
Stop by the library if you have any questions or would like further instruction to use either of these free services.
