The Society for Creative Destruction 3/2 (Sat) @ 10:30am; Every first Saturday. Come join us as we explore the art of a different kind of journaling. We will be inspired by author Keri Smith’s work. She has created a series called Wreak This Journal offering a fun way to express yourself with art and writing. Bring a cheap blank composition journal; we will have a few for those who need one.
Family Story Time 3/7 (Thur)@ 6:15pm; Join us at the library each Thursday evening for a family story time. Our story and activities will be geared for pre-k – 1st grade, but all of the family is encouraged to join us for an enjoyable 45 min. of Family FUN!
Local History/Genealogy at the Heyworth Public Library 3/8 (Fri)@ 10:30am; We will resume our monthly meetings to begin another year of gathering information about the people/places/events of Randolph Township. We have begun an oral histories project to highlight our longtime citizens and preserve our history through recorded interviews. We will also be working with Dennis Powell, the Sexton in charge of Randolph Cemeteries, and begin a project to transfer the records to an electronic media for genealogists to more easily look up records. Whether you are a native of Randolph Twp. or a history buff you are invited to help further our resources and document our shared history.
