Download the BookMyne App from your device or Android device app store.  BookMyne is a free app that lets you search the library, place books on hold, manage your lists, your account … and much more. Our online catalog is also available 24/7 from our website at heyworthlibrary.com.  Don’t enjoy using the latest technology?  Stop by the library.  We would love to provide you with old-fashioned, much appreciated, hometown face-to-face customer service.

The Winter READ is here!  Join our program: Read Undercover from February 1 through March 31 to be in a drawing for an exclusive Heyworth Public Library mug!  Stop by for more details.

Federal and State tax forms have arrived in limited quantities.  State and Federal website links can be found on our website at heyworthlibrary.com.

More things you can do at your Heyworth Public Library:

• Drop off Box Tops labels and gently worn Hornet clothing to

support Heyworth Grade School.

• Drop off recently expired coupons for our military members over

seas.

• Recycle HP printer cartridges.

• Check out cake pans for FREE for 7 days.

• Use the library’s die-cut machine to make poster letters, shapes,

and holiday designs.  Just bring in your own construction paper.

• Look at Heyworth High School yearbooks.

• Donate newer, gently used books to our perpetual sale corner.

• Watch a movie every Friday after school at your library.

• Use our Microfiche reader to view back issues of the Heyworth Star

or Heyworth Natural Gas.

• Download eBooks or audio books from our Overdrive link from our   website or use the Overdrive App on Kindles, Nooks, or all Apple

products.

Monday Evening Book Club  2/25 @ 6:30pm; The Fourth Monday of the month; Join us as we read a wide selection of books and discuss what we liked and didn’t like.

Family Story Time 2/21 (Thur)@ 6:15pm; Join us at the library each Thursday evening for a family story time.  Our story and activities will be geared for pre-k – 1st grade, but all of the family is encouraged to join us for an enjoyable 45 min. of Family FUN!

BLOCK Party: LEGO Time!  2/26 @ 3:20pm; fourth Tuesday of each month.

The Scrapbooking Hour(s) 2/26 (Tue) @ 5pm–8pm; Come and go as you need to, bring your own supplies/snacks, and meet with others who love to scrapbook.  We will meet EVERY last Tuesday of the Month.

The Society for Creative Destruction  3/2 (Sat) @ 10:30am; Every first Saturday. Come join us as we explore the art of a different kind of journaling. We will be inspired by author Keri Smith’s work. She has created a series called Wreak This Journal offering a fun way to express yourself with art and writing. Bring a cheap blank composition journal; we will have a few for those who need one.

Local History/Genealogy at the Heyworth Public Library 3/8 (Fri)@ 10:30am; We will resume our monthly meetings to begin another year of gathering information about the people/places/events of Randolph Township.  Whether you are a native of Randolph Twp. or a history buff, you are invited to help further our resources and document our shared history.

Couponing 101 3/11 (Mon) @ 6:30pm; Bring your coupons to swap, learn about websites to help make the most of your shopping dollars, and learn how to become a secret shopper.

NEWLY ADDED: PYSANKY, Ukrainian Egg Decorating Class  3/11 (Mon) @ 6 pm – 8 pm; Free class for a limited number of participants.  All supplies are generously provided by our instructors: Kara Lopez and Michelle Brucker.  Sign up today!
