Summer Reading – Where Will It Take You?
Have Book – Will Travel: Children ages 3 years – 6th grade can read 10 books of their choice to earn prizes. The books need to be checked out from the library. Children may also attend any 6 programs of their choice, including a visit to the Simpkins Military History Museum, and collect 6 stickers in their Summer Reading Passport to redeem at the Heyworth Public Library for a Beanie baby. Thank you to all who have donated Beanie Babies to the library, especially to our friends at Worn Again, Too! Your support of early literacy programs is greatly appreciated.
6th graders through adults can also read for prizes. One ticket will be given for each checkout of books, audiobooks, or magazines. Tickets can then be placed in a drawing for a prize of your choice.
The last day to turn in reading logs and tickets is July 27.
