All interested in preserving Randolph Township history are welcome to attend the first Local History Club’s meeting in the Heyworth Library’s Community Room.  Join us Friday, October 25 at 10:30 am.  Maybe you are new to the area and want to learn more or you’re a seasoned Randolph Township Local History Expert.  All are welcome to join us each month as we share and gather information.  Sign up is encouraged for our first meeting to ensure enough handouts will be ready, 473-2313.

Halloween Trick or Treat at the Library, 5 pm – 7:45 pm, Thursday October 31.

Would you like start your own book club with a group of friends?  We can help with book selection, and loan the books you will need for your group.  Stop by today and ask for details.

Family Story Time, Oct 24  at 6:15 p.m.

Tonight is our last Family Story Time for this year.  Our program will begin again next February 2014!  This program is designed for families of pre-k – 1st grade, but the whole family is encouraged to join us for 45 min. of fun.  No sign up – just show up.

Friday After School Movies, each Friday at 3:20 pm (Sept 13 – May 16)

Each Friday join us afterschool for a movie on our big screen with Bose surround sound in our Community room.  Bring a friend, your own snack, and a covered drink for a great way to start your weekend!

LEGO Block Party, after-school program, First Tuesdays at 3:45 p.m.

Nov 5:  Sign up for our monthly Block Party!  We have space for 15 children each month to come create, collaborate, and have fun with LEGOs!  This is open to first through eight graders.

The Society for Creative Destruction, after-school program, Third Tuesdays at 3:45 p.m.

Nov. 19:  Join us as we explore the art of another type of journaling.  Hey summer SCDer’s we hope to see you at our after-school session!  If you missed this program during the summer, join us this fall.  Sign up is needed to have supplies ready.

Scary Movie 5, The Big Wedding and The Croods are available this week. Our NEW DVD movies can be loaned for three nights for $1.00. All others are available for 7 nights for $1.00.
