Paws to Read and Finish Strong!

With over 130 children signed up for summer reading it is our hope that many finish their reading goals and collect the summer reading prizes donated by our wonderful summer reading sponsors! Calling all kids to get your summer reading on and turn in your reading logs and bingo sheets by July 26th.  Our last two weeks of children’s/teens summer reading programs begin next week. Flyers are available in the library with program descriptions. All summer reading information is on the library website at heyworthlibrary.com or join our Facebook page for updates. Most programing requires a sign up to help us plan supplies and resources.

So many great things are happening at your local library! Are you downloading your free music from Freegal with your library card? Three free songs per week.  Have you tried our our free eBooks and audio books?  Get the Overdrive app on your phone or tablet, and go to our website OR call and make an appointment to meet with a librarian to receive a brief overview of our downloadable eBooks and audio books today!

We want to thank the family and friends of Jerry Bittle for their donation to the library in her memory. We also want to thank Cathy and Dennis Wentworth for their memorial donations in the names of Noah Wiseman and Jamie Marr.  We are honored to memorialize these local individuals through the purchase of books and materials that benefit our community and further our services.  If you wish to make a donation, memorial, or bequest to the library please contact Beth Porter.
