The Survey Says…

Please let the library know how our summer reading programs served you or your family this summer.  We have surveys available at the desk, on our website, or use our Facebook page to fill out the anonymous feedback forms through the end of August. We are always striving to serve our community better, and your input is sought to provide the best summer programming we can deliver.  We are looking forward to 2015 Read to the Rhythm!

If you haven’t heard we have even MORE eBooks available!  Please stop by or visit our website for easy instructions to use our latest online eBook database AxisReader!  It offers even more children’s and non-fiction material than OverDrive. This service is in addition to OverDrive.  Both deliver great service and access to thousands of free titles to our library card holders. You can reserve an appointment with a librarian to go over how to use either or both of these services using your device.  Call the library to set a time that is convenient for you, 473-2313.

Plans are underway for our next Randolph Township History Symposium for September 16th at 6 pm in the library’s Community Room.  We will be exploring Randolph Township’s one room school houses before the consolidation of 1948.  Up until 1948 the Randolph Township had ten one room school houses.  During the consolidation of 1948 two one room schools in Downs Township and one in Funks Grove Township moved into the Unit 4 school district.  So our focus will be on these thirteen schools and their history.  Plan to join us for an informal and informational evening.  If you have any material such as photos, journals, scrapbooks, and memorabilia from any of these one room schools we would love to see it and possibly include it in our presentation. You can make arrangements by calling the library.
