We Are So Much Larger Than Our Walls questions@heyworthlibrary.com

Library News ~ November 18, 2015

Are you wanting specific movies for your Thanksgiving gathering or a selection of music for your holiday party? Through interlibrary loan, we can get multiple copies of popular titles from around the state for our patrons, free of charge. It usually takes 7 business days to get a title delivered from another in-state library. We would love to help, just email us at questions@heyworthlibrary.com with your requests or stop in.

Do you have a long drive over the river and through the woods? Audiobooks can help make that drive enjoyable! Your Heyworth Public Library has a fairly large audiobook collection of mystery and action adventure with some non-fiction and romance sprinkled in. However you can interlibrary loan most any title you want. Also give our Overdrive or Axis 360 apps a try in audiobook format – they are NOT just for reading on tablets. Any phone or tablet with apps can provide you with audiobooks easily. With your phone plugged into your car via these apps you have many audiobooks available for a more enjoyable holiday trip ahead.

Our book sale shelves are bursting again! So come in for a great selection of pre-loved titles. The holidays are around the corner, get a jump start to your gift purchases at your library. A great way to support your local library and help recycle. Or look up some literary craft ideas and browse our titles for the perfect crafting fodder to spark your creativity for a one of a kind gift to create and give. Or checkout a book on crafting books into artwork. Yes, we have those available too! We also have Heyworth Public Library tote bags for sale. A great way to support the library, and share the love of reading.
