Fourth Annual Blind Date With a Book Has Begun

The Fourth Annual “Blind Date with a Book” event during February has begun. We have selected quirky, classic, non-fiction, and popular literature that will take you to a new location and wrapped them up with a ribbon. Come in and choose a wrapped book as your “blind date”. Give it a read. Then fill out our “Rate Your Date” bookmark and return it with the book. We are not arranging marriages, and not a dime has to be spent! Just try a “blind date” – you never know which new favorite author or genre you might fall in love with.

We celebrated all things Groundhog during Family Story Time Thursday evening.  Make plans to join us next week on Thursday at 6:15 p.m. We will meet on Thursdays through March 16. Mark your calendars and bring the kids for a great time of stories, music, and crafts.

Do you want free eBooks, downloadable audiobooks, and music for your digital device?  If it uses apps from the Google Play or iTunes stores, you can use our FREE library apps.  Visit the library website at heyworthlibrary.com for tutorial help sheets with the various e-readers using Overdrive, Axis 360, Freegal, or BookMyne. You may also call to schedule a face-to-face tutorial (473-2313) on using the library’s apps.
