September Is Library Card Sign-Up Month

A library card is one of the most empowering tools you can have.  Libraries provide people of all ages the opportunity to pursue their dreams and passions through access to technology, media resources, and educational programs.  Library cards provide opportunity for discovery and empower you to make change and experience new stories.  If you are a resident of Heyworth Public Library District, visit us to get your library card and take advantage of this wonderful community resource.

Media resources available at the library include our digital collection of books and audiobooks using the Libby and Axis 360 apps.  hoopla was recently added to this collection.  hoopla can be enjoyed on your phone, tablet, computer, and TV. It offers instant access to books, audiobooks, music, movies, and TV shows with your library card.

There are several programs being offered this fall.  Registration is required for most programs.  Register in the library, call 309-473-2313, or by email questions@heyworthlibrary.com.
