November News and Closure Information

As a reminder, the library building will be closed beginning Saturday, November 18, so that carpet can be installed and the building’s interior can be painted. At the time of this publication, we are planning to reopen right before Christmas. Stay tuned to our website and social media pages for more information as we get closer to the end of the project.

The bookdrop will be closed during this time, so please keep your items at home until we reopen, or they may be dropped off at another public library in the area. All due dates are currently being extended to December 27. All library cards set to expire during this time have already been extended to January 1 so that you maintain access to our digital library. Your Heyworth Library card will also work at surrounding libraries like Normal Public Library and Mt. Hope-Funks Grove Public Library.

Staff will be working behind the scenes during this time, so please reach out by phone (309-473-2313) or email (questions@heyworthlibrary.com) with any questions or concerns that you may have.
